Happy Thanksgiving!

I will have to post pictures later, but hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  My folks came to visit for a few days.  I am happy to say we had a wonderful dinner and a wonderful time.  I wanted to go back for 2, 3, and 4 helpings of turkey, cornbread stuffing and GRAVY!!!  I was ready to drink the gravy from the gravy boat it was so delicious!  I am thankful to my wonderful Mother-in-Law for showing me how to make Southern cornbread stuffing a few years back.  I think my Husband and Father could have eaten it all between the 2 of them!  After letting the big meal "settle" for a bit, we all piled into the van and drove to the lake 3 miles from our house.  It was a gorgeous day and we were able to enjoy it for a bit before the weather turned chilly.  I hope you all had a wonderful time making memories with family and enjoying delicious food.  We have the tree up and decorated and are anxious for Christmas.  We are hoping the weather stays somewhat nice so that we can make a 17 hour drive down South to see my hubby's family!  Happy Holidays to one and all!!!

Halloween pictures and first snowfall....

Sunrise in the country!
I am finally posting a few pictures from Halloween and from our neighbors Halloween party.  The girls had so much fun.  It snowed today and I woke up at 3 a.m. and could not go back to sleep I was so excited.  Bub was so excited she HAD to play outside when they got home from school and she had to make a snowman even though there was not much snow left.  All is well here and we are all recovering from bad colds.  Life is good and it will be even better when my hubby gets home from his business trip.  Happy Fall ya'll!!!!
A helping me make pumpkin bread!  It made the house smell incredible!!!!

I bent my original ring beyond repair in 2005.  My hubby bought me a brand new and improved setting.  I LOVE it!

Happy Halloween!

Yesterday and last night was so much fun!  The girls had parties at school and were able to wear their costumes.  E was a princess, Bub was "Daphne" from Scooby Doo, and A was Tinkerbell.  After school they had a parade and Trick or Treating downtown.   It was a MOB!  I have never seen so many Trick or Treaters together like that!  It was very well organized though.  After the parade, the girls school had a carnival.  The girls played games, ate, bounced in a bouncy castle, ate, chatted w/ friends and ate some more!  The only negative thing was that the hubby was sick and unable to join in on the festivities.  All in all though, it was a fantastic night!  Now, it is finally November!  My favorite month!  I LOVE FALL!!!!!!!!  And snow is in the forcast for tonight.  3-5 inches.  I am not expecting much.  But, before the hubby headed out of town he helped me start up the snowblower so I can be prepared!  Happy Fall ya'll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
