AMAZING Birthday!

I woke up this morning after sleeping in to a peaceful room.  I love my children to death, but having a little "me" time is such a welcome change for a few days.  My precious hubby ordered room service and I had breakfast in bed this morning.  We had dinner out last night and I had THE best Cheesecake I have ever tasted.  Those of you who know me, know cheesecake is my all-time fave!!!!  Other than the little worry I had about our youngest having a fever at Grandma's, this is one of the BEST weeks I've had in a very long time.  I feel so very blessed and thankful for the wonderful loved ones in my life.  God bless ya'll!!!  ;)

Business for hubby, vacation for ME!

I am sitting in a motel room enjoying peace and quiet to the max.  Our girls are at Grandma's in Nebraska and we are in Missouri.  My hubby has meetings this week and I am fully enjoying the "me" time.  I am hoping to catch some rays tomorrow and lay out with a good Karen Kingsbury book.  Hopefully, a cooldown is on the way soon.  Our A.C. needs a break!  Next week will keep us busy getting the girls all signed up for school.  I can't believe that time is coming already.  Summer is flying by.  I'm off to chill w/ the hubby.  LOVE the fact that I can stay up later and sleep in tomorrow morning!
