More pictures

I couldn't remember what pictures I have added so I apologize if there are duplicates.  Trying to get the rest of the good pictures up.  E came home from school today w/ a bad cough.  She was up a lot last night so I am ready to hit the sack already and it's only 4!  My folks have a bunch of snow and are 2 hours North of us.  I am very jealous.  I am a bit tired and out of it, so I will stop typing and just let you look at pictures of cute kids. 

Sisterly Love

We had our family pictures taken a few weeks ago.  I am trying to decide which ones to purchase and the photographer did such a great job, I want to get all of them.  It was a lot of fun, I am just a little frustrated that our youngest was so crabby and would not sit still so I could get a 2yr. picture of her.  Maybe NEXT year!!!  We are all sick with colds and going on 8 days of coughs and stuffy noses.  I would rather have colds than all the "crud" that is going around.  A lot of kids and adults are out sick with the flu.  I am hoping we'll miss it, but I am sure we'll get it just in time for Thanksgiving!  Oh well.  Can't live in a bubble.  I hope you enjoy looking at our cute family and I hope to get more pictures uploaded soon.  Have a wonderful week, and God bless!

Happy Halloween!

We had a fun day today.  We had beautiful weather and fun at the park followed by pumpkin carving.  The girls were very excited to light the pumpkins and see them outside when it was dark.  Tommorrow is going to be busy and fun as well.  Hopefully the girls won't be too wired to settle down to sleep!

We went to a local Pumpkin Patch this weekend and I may have had more fun than the girls.  There was so much to see and do!  They had a lifesize Candyland to walk on, two different haunted houses, pony rides, tricycles for riding on a path, a princess castle w/ slides and a tunnel, a magician, and unbelievable FOOD!!!  Fun times were had by all!  And I even brought home a bag of Kettlecorn to enjoy.  This will definately have to be a yearly tradition.

   We are watching my folks dog for a few days while they are out of town.  Our girls LOVE him and so it's making life a lot of fun.  And it is really nice have a dog to gobble up scraps that fall on the floor!  I could get used to that!  We had a heatwave last week with a 90 degree day, but things are back to normal in the lower 70's.  I could go for upper 60's but I'll take 70's over 90 ANYDAY!  I will try to upload some pictures from the Pumpkin Patch if time allows.  Hope this finds ya'll well!

Anxious for a freeze

I am so ready for a frost.  My allergies are beating me down.  I LOVE Fall and can't wait for it to be cool!  Today's high is 74 and I am loving it.  High in the 60's this weekend.  I'm making a pot of soup and getting out the sweatshirts!!!  All is well here.  Hard to believe our "baby" is going to be 22 months tomorrow.  Soon she'll be 2 years old and we'll be training her to sleep in a big girl bed.  Time flies when you are enjoying "babyhood".   The girls are growing and changing so much so fast.  I wish I could push a pause button on real time for a while.  Life is good.  The kiddos are good.  The hubby is good.  I'm good.  We stood by the doors at church Sunday and greeted people as they walked in.  I think our family was a hit.  Baby A made it her mission to shake the hand of EVERY person that walked by us.  The elderly folks got a kick out of her.  She even hugged one ladies legs.  It is so much fun watching the girls.  They are a hoot.  School is going well for E and Bubba loves going to Preschool.  They both love the teachers and E loves playing and music class.  Hope this finds everyone well and enjoying Fall.

LOVING the cool weather today!

The weather today is beautiful.  There is a chill in the air.  I threw the windows open and the cool air is gently blowing in.  I LOVE it!  E is at school, Bubba is watching a movie, and Baby A is napping.  Good time to get laundry done and closets straightened.   I LOVE the feeling of getting something accomplished!!!  All is well here.  Getting used to taking girls to school.  When they get home they have SO much to tell me and show me.  I need a clone!!   Not much new to update.  I am just waiting for it to STAY cool and anxiously waiting to bake, bake, bake in cooler weather.  Hope this finds all well. 

Frustration

So, I have tried 3 times to update and get some more pictures on here.  It posted one picture about 6 times and then I tried to fix it and it deleted everything.  I am getting frustrated.  I'll try another day.  My allergies are REALLY acting up and I would LOVE to have a day when I can see through clear eyes and have a dry nose.  Oh well, I am still blessed.  Feeling very lucky in life.  Even though life can bog me down, I still feel very blessed to have the life I have.  My hubby is wonderful and my kiddos are healthy and beautiful.  It rained this morning when I was taking E to school.  It is now cool and cloudy outside.  I have the windows open and hope to get some cleaning done.  I took 4 boxes of clothes to Goodwill yesterday.  It feels good to clean stuff out and get rid of some clutter.  Need to get rid of more stuff!  Gotta go while I am motivated. I hope everyone had a GREAT Labor Day weekend!!!!!!  We sure did!!!

I need to hit the sack.  Need to add a few pictures though.  Here are some from Bubba's first day at Preschool and some from Labor Day weekend.  We had such a nice relaxing time w/ my folks and seeing friends.  I feel very much rejuvenated and ready for FALL!!!!!  Bring on the crisp, cool air, homemade soup and leaves turning color!!!!!

Today was Bubba's first day of preschool.  I was so excited for her.  She had so much fun.  But, I am going through a bunch of milestones all at once and it is a bit to handle for this emotional, sappy gal.  I am really happy for the girls and that they are going to school, making friends and learning so much.  I wanted to try to upload a video of Bub dancing but it seems to take more time than I have to put into it.  I am anxiously waiting for my hubby to come home from a business trip.  The girls are really missing him and I am too.  I am staying up way too late and need some shut-eye.  More updates to come later.

I can't believe this day is here.  I have sent our oldest off to school.  It was such an emotional morning.  A lot of "firsts".   She put her backpack, rest pillow and blanket in her locker and walked right in like such a big girl.  No worries, no fears.  Just huge smiles.  I stayed for an hour and went to her first morning of Chapel.  This a new experience for me as I went to Public School.  She is attending the Lutheran School here and I am SO excited for her and the opportunities that she will have.  I am hoping she will continue to be excited to go to school.  It was hard to get her out of bed this morning.  She is a night owl like her Mommy and LOVES sleep like her Daddy. Her first day is just half a day, so I can't wait to pick her up before lunch and hear all about her morning.  I am praying for all the teachers today as so many schools are starting back today.  I hope ya'll had a wonderful Summer and this Fall is wonderful!  God's blessings to you!
