Happy 5th Birthday to our Bubba!

Yesterday we celebrated our Bub's 5th Birthday.  She had a great day even though her Daddy was working out of town.  We had a celebration with Grandma F. on Monday w/ a Strawberry Shortcake cake.  And today she took jello cupcakes to school to share.  I can't believe it's been 5 years since she graced us with her presence.  She is such a delight to have around.  There are times she can be a bit of a Drama Queen.  Unfortunately, that is a trait she inherited from her Momma.  She is loving the Strawberry shortcake toys from her Grandma in Louisiana and her Tinkerbell doll and coloring book from Grandma F.  Now, we have packing to do and moving to look forward to.  I can't believe our oldest childs first year in school is about to end.  And next year, we'll have 2 kiddos in school.  Time flies and the kids are growing so fast.  It makes me sad.  I am so used to having 3 little ones.  This gradeschool stuff is bittersweet.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.  God bless!

Happy Easter!!!

The girls had a fun time coloring Easter eggs last night.  It was a first for Baby A and she made the moment memorable!  I turned for a minute and the next thing I knew she had her entire hand in the purple dye!!!!!  The big girls were so helpful trying to show A how to color the egg w/ a crayon and dip it gently.  E was adorable being a little "mother" and Bub was enjoying it too.  We are looking forward to seeing my folks as we haven't seen them in a while.  I hope everyone has a blessed weekend and a very Happy Easter!!!!

Remembering precious Mimi

Words can't touch the emotion my dear sweet hubby is feeling at the loss of his precious Grandmother.  We spent the past few days remembering her and spending time with his Grandad.  What a special time it was and what precious memories were made.  It meant so very much for my husband to spend time in the house he visited so much as a little boy.  His Grandparents have a very special place in his heart and always will.
